Foundation Course in Screen Printing (4 Day course)

Objectives :

A complete awareness of all aspects of screen printing process, the latest trends and new techniques will be provided by this course.

  • Day 2
    Factors concerning mesh stretching, mesh preparation. Direct emulsion stencil making, calculation of correct exposure. Properties of stencils.
  • Day 3
    Factors governing print production, introduction to printing onto plastics and various substrates & performing print study. Introduction to U. V. ink technology
  • Day 4 Introduction to theory & practical four colour halftone printing.


Stencil Making Course (2 Day course)

Objectives :

This course is designed to give both theoretical knowledge and practical techniques of stencil making. It will give an opportunity to improve the stencil making ability of an individual.

    Advances in mesh technology. Direct stencil systems. Review of the latest trends in direct emulsion technology. Comparison of different types of diazo / photo polymer emulsions. Selection of emulsion for water based inks / plastisol textile inks.
  • Day 2
    Evaluation of diazo / photo polymer systems to meet appropriate technical requirements. Mesh reclaiming, degreasing and roughening methods.


 

Textile Printing Course (3 Day course)

Objectives :

This course will give delegates a sound practical awareness of the production techniques involved in textile printing. It will practically evaluate the latest developments in textile ink technology.

Four Colour Process By Screen Printing (3 Day course)

Objectives :

This course will provide the essential pre-press knowledge and skills required to standardize reproduction of four colour process printing. It will also help in understanding the terminology of four colour process printing.

  • Understanding of trichromatic ink density readings suitable to screen printing.

    Stencil making, halftone grey scale reproduction, smallest printable dot. Printing of four colour by solvent based inks.
  • Day 3
    Introduction to U. V. ink technology. Printing four colour works by U. V. inks.
